Family Heirloom l Hudson Valley Wedding Photographer

The first decision as an engaged couple is to set priorities for your wedding planning. You have to make so many decisions and how much to spend on your priorities. Is it the dress? The food? The venue? I was a bride too, and  I believe couples should make photography their top priority. After all the planing and all the preparation is over in hours. The cake is gone, the flowers will die. The only thing you will have are your photographs and your memories of the day ( and your husband of course ).  Not only choose the best photographer that fits your personality and interest, but keep in mind the photos need to be displayed in the right manner, which is not a CD.  I only offer high end leather Albums to my clients, the top one is the flush mount album. This is a perfect ending to the wedding experience and it is your first family heirloom.

Just this past week I delivered this beautiful package to my clients Erica & Frank. A perfect ending to a perfect wedding! They had a horrible experience with a studio that went bankrupt and almost left them without any of the pictures from their wedding. Even though I did not take their photos I offered them to do their album, prints and everything else. They picked my Top wedding collection for a reason, this has all the items that everyone goes WOW and Erica and Frank got this fabulous package full off presents. Enjoy !

Soon to be Publish New York Wedding Photographer

I'm beyond thankful to work with amazing clients who allow me to do what I love. Samuel and Kristyn Hernadez were such clients and their Port Jervis, New York Wedding was one of the highlights of last year.
Of course I might sound biased (as well as the girls from every seasons events , who planned the wedding goodness), but three Wedding blogs have said they are featuring this wedding on their websites, I was beyond honored. Being a wedding photographer is a dream come true, but to see my images on wedding blogs like this one makes me feel like the luckiest girl. Ever.

If you are looking to get inspired for an event or your wedding, check them out!

Never go to bed angry. Stay up and fight

Is not a secret that here in the East coast, people don't usually plan to get married in the winter. It's brutally cold, you never know when the next snow storm is coming, and is dark at 4 pm. For me not having a wedding every other weekend, has meant that I had the time to rethink my business and my brand. I really want to move forward and evolve with all the things I have learn in the past year. The main thing is that I want to write. I have to be honest, English grammar was not taught back in Venezuela, so I'm not good at writing, but I like it. Not only that, but It helps me organize the thoughts in my head and makes my day dreams become more of a task and therefore a reality.

I have some ideas about a post on my Facebook page. I figure my married clients get a ton of advice the day leading to there wedding and great speeches from their closest friends and families. If you are anything like me, you don't remember half of what they said a day after, so this is why I'll post the advice of the week. For all you married couples out there to stay sharp !

Secrets of a happy marriage.

Tip #1  Never go to bed angry. Stay up and fight.

I usually I break this rule, but I'm not one to fight, usually Tom and me have "disagreements" , but after 6 years of being married I can tell you is way better to end it that day and move on, than drag it into the next day. Life is too short !

Tuxeto Park, New York Wedding Photographer

December was here, and I could see the end of the year 2012 was in sight. “The end” was Steven and Rachel’s Tuxedo Park Wedding. It was perfect.  This was the BEST way to end my 2012 wedding season. The thing I love the most about these two, is that their love for one another is so visible. You can just tell by the look in Steven’s eyes that he’s crazy about her and let me tell you, that’s AMAZING for pictures!!  I loved spending the day with this incredible couple and their families. From beginning to end, their day was perfect. This wedding was no ordinary wedding, you see the guest where invited to an engagement party. Little did they know after the main meal they were attending the actual wedding, SURPRISE !! I don’t know how these two pull it off, but the reaction on people’s faces was priceless.  I felt such an adrenalin rush leading to the moment when Rachel was going to walk down the stair in her wedding dress for the surprise. I’m so glad I had Tom (my husband ) there as my second shooter to make sure we did not miss any important moments and reaction.

As a photographer, I couldn't have been happier with what we were able to accomplish, I was  so excited for these two!!! They were finally MARRIED!!! Welcome to the club!! It’s awesome!:)

I cannot WAIT to share the story through these images!
